We walked around in the hot sun yesterday morning looking for accommodation. On our way from picking up my backpack to go to the bungalows we found jay spotted a sign stating aircon and beach front and we just thought we’d see how much. Only 100 (3.5dollars over our budget) we for went the fan tiny bungalows just back from the beach and moved straight into our air con room. Nothing will compare to our room in Phuket BUT waking up to this view and going for a morning swim is too good to be true. We also got AH-mazing coconut massages yesterday (Jay said he has never heard someone’s back crack so much- cheers backpack) and we has this view from the massage beds too cause out guesthouse has a massage bungalow attached to it! We loved it so much we extended our stay!

After a few games of Kings and an amazing swim with glow in the dark plankton for third brave enough to take on the waters in the pitch black (as all the lights of the boat had to be turned off for full effect) we crawl into our “beds” for the night with a celling full of stars. Though it wasn’t the best sleep I’ve ever had waking up in a deserted bay with this view was worth it!

Tourist laden, “The Beach” was our next stop after a snorkel and kayak session in some amazingly turquoise coves (all captured on our underwater disposable). We stayed here and had a big delicious feast and rum buckets after the sun had gone down and the tourists had abandon the island.

The Viking Caves where birds nests are collected to be made into birds nest soup. There are a few people still living in these caves today. And the bamboo sticks are used to climb up so they can collect the nests (which might I add ate made by the birds spit- this soup is almost a delicacy though, one I begrudgingly tried in Bangkok)
