Literally a minutes walk from our beach house at every single bar each night these extraordinary fire shows would go on until about 10. There were girls and guys blowing fire, twirling fire, walking on fire, skipping with fire ( and audience members), and most impressively a guy who tightrope walked whilst twirling fire. These are the best shots my phone could get but the videos do it much more justice!

An alright place to be nursing a hangover…

I could have swum here forever! This was without a doubt the most amazing snorkelling spot I’ve ever been to. The water was insanely clear and there was so much going on on the ocean floor not to mention the fish were surrounding me so closely that some were sucking on my skin here and then. The snorkel was giving Jay an even worse headache so I had the entire ocean to myself!

This does no justice to what the beach was like last night (considering this was only 6:30pm). But here are the beginning stages of one of the craziest Halloweens I’ve had. Fire shows galore, and with a big bunch of some of my travelling buddies who all happened to be on the island too, Jay had his first run in with Thai Bucket-hangovers. Harry and Joe (two of the English boys from Vietnam) pushed Jay/ he succumbed to drinking peer pressure and next thing I know I look over to see Jay ad the boys running through the fire ring set up…. Not long after I was running through it! Needless to say today has been a bit rough for poor old Jay!
